Science and Math TAKS Scores Show Gains

Preliminary Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills passing rates show improvements in math and science at most East Texas schools. The Longview lodges of the Knight of Pythias and the Dramatic Order Knights of Khorassan awarded 14 bicycles in raffle drawings to reading contest participants at four local elementary schools.
