Pine Tree Math –Science Team Captured the TMSCA State 4A Sweepstakes Award

The Pine Tree Math –Science team captured the TMSCA State 4A Sweepstakes Award on Saturday, March 20 in San Antonio with a total of 3147 points to the second place Corpus Christi Flour Bluff team score of 2636. Pine Tree won first place team in Number Sense, Mathematics, and Science and placed second in Calculator.
The team members won many individual awards. In the ‘Topgun’ rankings for each grade level for cumulative placing in the four events, Pine Tree had numerous students in the top six. Seniors in the top six places receive scholarship money in addition to the prestigious recognition.
