I stumbled upon this just now, and I thought I should let you know that I actually am no longer a student at PTHS (and haven't been since the end of the 2010-2011 school year). You may want to correct that.

I strongly agree with Carolyn Shaw's comment that the design needs to place pass-through pedestrian traffic out of the seating area; preferably above it or behind it (like the LHS stadium.) An ideal design would also allow spectators to enter the seating area from from behind, at mid-level. This would minimize stair-climbing distance for older and limited mobility spectators.

I would love to have the area between each isle wider than our current stadium to help ease a person trying to get down the isle. I also would like to have the seating where there is no traffic in front. As our stadium is now, if your seats are down low you can't see for all the walk through traffic. We have had several move up into empty seats just so they can watch the game.

I highly recommend the end zone seating for the band & drill teams. It would be great to be able to watch their routines and would also allow those watching the game to hear the announcer. Currently the way the stands are set up it is hard to hear even the person next to you speak. I also think it would provide additional seating in the stands for fans. I feel it would also help with future growth if we have this seating already in place. I have only lived in the district for almost 7 years now, but have noticed an increase in the amount of fans that attend our football games. I think we should look at all aspects and go ahead and build these additions instead of waiting two years down the road and asking the tax payers for another bond proposal.
