Pine Tree Junior High welcomes a new member  to the campus team. We are excited to have Casi Oriz join us as the new Communities in Schools (CIS) director. The Pine Tree Junior High boys athletics is sponsoring a Donkey Basketball game on February 24, 7:00pm, at the junior high gym. Teams include  a  junior high team consisting of teachers and principals,  middle and high schools teams consisting of faculty & staff, and a senior class team. Tickets are $6 in advance (will be available in February) and $8 at the door. Come see your teachers and principals ride a donkey and play basketball.

It’s not too late to order your yearbook! Students can bring $25 cash or check, made out to PTJH, to Mrs. Williams in room 405 or 411. When a student purchases a yearbook, they will also be registered to attend the signing party that will take place when the yearbook arrives in the spring. Only students that have purchased a yearbook may attend the signing party. Don’t depend on extras, order your yearbook now!

Thursday, February 2 @ 6:00pm, in the PTJH cafeteria, the high school counselors will be presenting an information meeting concerning 9th grade classes and programs of study for all 8th grade parents and students. Students had an opportunity to work in the Career Cruising program and visit with their JH counselor, Mrs. Roberts, concerning their career interests before Christmas break. This information will help 8th graders make choices for their freshman year. Students will be given a copy to bring home for parents to review once this process is completed.
