The starting and ending times for schools in Pine Tree will change beginning in the fall of the 2012-2013 school year.

PTISD 2012 -2013 Start/End Times: 

Campuses will open at 7:30 am

PT Primary (K): 
8:25 am – 3:40 pm 

PT Elementary (1-2):
8:25 am – 3:40 pm 

PT Intermediate (3-4): 
8:25 am – 3:40 pm 

PT Middle (5-6): 
8:35 am – 3:50 pm 

PT Junior High (7-8): 
7:45 am – 3:05 pm 

PT High School (9-12): 
7:45 am – 3:00 pm

May 7 though 11 is Teacher Appreciation Week. Show your teacher how much she/he means to you by thanking them for their hard work.

 Saturday, April 28, both Pine Tree Junior High bands won high honors for their performance at the contest held  at Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas.  Both bands received a first division on stage. They also received “Best in Class” indicating that they had the best performance in their classification. 

 The 8th Grade Science Stargazing Night  has been rescheduled for Monday, May 14. Meet us around 8:45 – 9:30 pm on the practice track field behind the Longview Swim Center & PTHS field house. Guest Dr. Craig King and Mike Darby will be present. This event is open to anyone interested in the stars!

PTJH Math/ Science Team State Results:

Number Sense Team – 2nd Place
Calculator Team – 3rd Place
Math Team – 3rd Place
Science Team – 12th Place

Overall – 4^th Place
