Final Exams-June 3, 4, 5

June 3rd – Exams in 3rd and 7th periods

June 4th – Exams in 1st, 4th, 6th periods

June 5th – Exams in 2nd and 5th

  • June 5th is early release, last bell at 11:25
  • Sack lunches will be available to eat before getting on buses
  • No lunches will be allowed on the bus
  • Buses run at 11:50

Athletic 2014 Summer Camps

Pine Tree Hardball Pitching Camp

Saturday- May 31st
8:00 – 10:30 am
Pine Tree HS “Field of Dreams”
Grades 2 through Incoming Freshman
Cost: $35

The first annual Pine Tree Pitching Camp will give all participating campers the ability to be a part of the Pine Tree Hardball program. We will offer a fun filled environment while learning the proper fundamentals and techniques needed to be a successful pitcher/catcher.

Pine Tree 7th-9th Football Camp

August 4, 5, 6

Pine Tree High School Field House
8:00-10:00 am
Cost: $50

A specialized camp just for incoming PTISD 7th – 9th graders only. Campers will benefit from 3 days of fundamental football instruction.

Pirate Conditioning Course

June 16-July 24 (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays)
PTHS Weight Room and Practice Facilities
Grades 6-8: 10:00 am – Noon
Grades 9-12 8:00 am – 10:00 am
Cost: $75

Male and female athletes attending PTISD are eligible for attendance and will benefit from this structured strength and conditioning camp. Activities will focus on weight training, flexibility, agility, and speed as well as character development and motivational instruction.

Piney Woods Passing Academy

June 9, 10, 11
6:00pm – 8:00pm
Cost $50

This camp is designed to provide High School and Youth Quarterbacks/WR’s and defensive skill players with a high level of instruction in a small group setting. Fundamental Twirler Clinic

This free clinic and has been rescheduled for May 3rd. 

Who: Those participating in the PTJH Twirler tryouts on May 9th

Purpose: to help participants learn the proper name and movement of fundamentals needed for try outs.

Where: Pine Tree JH Main Gym

When: Saturday, May 3, 2014

Time: 9 am – 12 noon

Participants must have batons and energy ready to Twirl and may bring a water bottle.
