Mexico celebrates the Day of the Dead on November 2nd. And my class is writing “Calaveras”

Posted by Srta. Oviedo under: Important Information.

This is an example of a Calavera

Señorita Oviedo spoke Spanish to all,

And when one day la Calaca she saw,

She boldly said: “¡Hace buen tiempo y es otoño,

Y me gusta mucho ser profesora este año!”

But La Flaca did not listen,

And now from 304 Srta. Oviedo is missing,

“No other Spanish teacher can replace her,”

Said Mr. Gillentine, Mr. Stuart, and Mrs. Baker.

I’m looking forward to read the Calaveras my students will write by November second!

¡Hola! Hello!

Posted by Srta. Oviedo under: Greetings.

As we begin  a new school year, students are excited to come back to school to see their friends. Many are also excited about learning new things and having the opportunity to do fun projects. I hope I can help make this year a good year for everyone!
